The Hart County
Maintenance Shop is housed in a 6,000 square foot facility. The
Shop services and repairs approximately 220 vehicles and equipment
for 15 departments. This 7 employee operation saves the taxpayers
a considerable amount of money each year by performing everything
from routine tire repairs to major equipment overhauls.
Example: This older piece of
equipment which costs over $125,000 to replace was recently
rebuilt by the Shop for less than $20,000, extending the equipment
life for many more years.

local gas stations.
