Information Technology (IT)

Hart County is stepping up its pace with the exploding technology of today's office environment. New networks have been and continue to be installed, enabling employees to handle workflow faster and more efficiently than ever.

This branch of the Hart County Government is responsible for the networking, computers, software, and technology purchasing for the county.

  Document Management System Interface

This is how the document management screen appears to workers at the Administrative/Emergency Management Building.

Employees are able to store and retrieve files from a screen that looks like something they have always used: a file cabinet.

The documents are backed-up automatically.

More than 1,000 pages are now available, including a site for employees only where they can download required forms and information such as: policies, directories, time sheets, etc.

High speed connections are installed at the Administrative Building and Courthouse reducing time required to download and upload, and cost the county less than dial-up connections.
