| Fire Department Advisory Board
Members:
The board shall consist of the Commanders of each station, the
Fire Chief, the Assistant Fire Chief, and County Safety Officer,
serving without pay. The terms of office of the members of the
board shall be indefinite until their successors are elected and/or
qualified. The board shall meet as called.
Duties:
- To advise, guide and steer the administration of the Fire
Department in providing the services of the department to the
County residents.
- To ensure the operation of the Fire Department adheres to
all Federal, State and County regulations and laws.
- To select candidates for Fire Department employees and submit
these candidates to the Board of Commissioners.
- To organize and conduct the election of the Fire Chief.
